Service was down today for several hours; the cause was the air conditioning at our co-lo, which broke down resulting in all the servers in the farm overheating and shutting down.

Everything is back up and running normally.

We are busy working on a new Upingme service which will dovetail nicely with our offerings…and maybe with other sites too. More on this when we are ready to take it live.

Service was interrupted this afternoon; incoming messages were not reaching the system. We traced the problem and it is was not related to our software, but was an upstream network problem. Everything appears to be flowing normally at the time of this post, 5:07PM.
